Post the First

I am going to try this out, speaking out into the cosmos, the hive mind, wondering who's listening. This is every Twitter-Convert's first post, and I'm skeptical.* It's like the Groucho Marx quote: I don't like any blogger who reads my blog. Maybe he didn't say that. Maybe it was Wodehouse? Anyway, I certainly don't not like anyone who looks at my blog, but what kind of person does? Could it be (for shame) people like me? Just as I have a profound distrust of people with my birthday, I'm skeptical of you, Dear Reader(s). But really, would I have a blog if I didn't want to be looked at?

So the goal of this whole thing is show images of my artwork and actually talk about it rather than straight-up images.** This is an outlet for discussing my influences, inspirations, and things that I generally find interesting.
